A fire chief is under investigation over claims he lied to get the £185,000 job.
The probe by the West Midlands Fire Authority was launched after the qualifications of chief fire officer, Wayne Brown, were questioned by The Upsetter.
Brown, 54, claims to have a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from the London South Bank University in 2010.
However, the university conducted a search of its records going as far back as 2005 and could find no evidence of Brown receiving an MBA as a full or part time student.
