In this round up of The Usual Suspects for October and November there is exclusive organised crime news from Holland, France and Kazakhstan to London, Birmingham and Nottingham.

We start with an attempt by the state to stop one of its former servants from giving evidence about corruption in an appeal involving the Flying Squad, whose days may be numbered for other reasons to do with budget cuts and not old fashioned corruption.

Talking of appeals, what does Borat in a mankini have to do with the lifed-off cop killer who gunned down a Met custody sergeant?

The Upsetter explains all before heading to Amsterdam for the recent murder trial of the man the National Crime Agency calls the El Chapo of Europe.

From drugs and murder, this newsletter heads to the West Midlands where the Boris Johnson school of holding office and lying about almost anything is very much on display in the police and fire service.

The Upsetter has long seen its role in exposing piss poor regulators and the Charity Commission is once more in this newsletter’s crosshairs over failing to do right by two whistleblowers on the cover up of sexual abuse by God’s representatives on earth.

Meanwhile, a strip club war has broken out in Soho and Spearmint Rhino has taken the iconic Windmill Theatre, as exclusively revealed here.

Finally, while the Met struggles to win back public trust someone has been pissing on officers’ chips quite literally in London’s naughtiest nick.

Eyes down.
